Mission Statement of Lions Clubs International:

"To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation."

Our Motto is WE SERVE.

Our Motto is WE SERVE.  We serve to lead and Lead to Serve. Each of our elected and appointed officers in the district and multiple district are here to serve the clubs and membership of Lions MD36.  We are here help you reach your goals, the district goals, multiple district goals and the goals of lions International.

We all have the same goals, Increase Membership, increase service, have fun, and enjoy the fellowship of our fellow lions. We are just looking at it from a different perspective.  We at the Multiple District Level are trying to help develop New Leaders with new ideas and new ways of providing services to our communities. Let us help help you reinvigorate your club.

As a Multiple District we have adopted a 5 Year plan to improve our Multiple District and make it more responsive to the needs of our members. I hope you will all take time to read the plan and hold us as leaders responsible for its implementation. We look forward to serving you.

Be aware of the weeks of service being promoted by lions’ clubs international. Our first week of service is Oct 4th through 12th. Mental health and wellbeing. You can find information and suggested activities on Lions International website under the helpful resources tab. I Challenge you to come together as lions in service and provide a service to our communities in need

Will you not help me hasten the day when there shall be no preventable blindness; no little deaf, blind child untaught; no blind man or woman unaided? I appeal to you Lions, you who have your sight, your hearing, you who are strong and brave and kind. Will you not constitute yourselves Knights of the Blind in this crusade against darkness?
