Spring Is Here, And With It Comes Renewed Energy For Service And Fellowship
Fellow Lions,
Spring is here, and with it comes renewed energy for service and fellowship. Our club is honored to host this year’s District 36-G Convention, and we are excited to welcome Lions from across the region to The Dalles. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your community, strengthen friendships, and share ideas that will help us grow and serve even better. Our goal of increasing membership by 10% may seem aggressive, but if you think about it, a club of 30 members is only 3 new members. Let’s make this a priority across out state.
🌍 Lions Clubs International Updates
Global Membership Growth Initiative: Lions Clubs International continues to focus on expanding membership worldwide, with new tools to help clubs recruit and retain members.
Service Focus Areas: Clubs are encouraged to increase impact in key areas—vision, hunger, environment, childhood cancer, diabetes, and disaster relief.
Lions International Convention 2026: Preparations are underway for the 108th international Lion’s Convention in Hong Kong, China. Hong Kong will welcome Lions and Leos from around the world with its rich cultural history and unforgettable experiences at every turn. Hong Kong is a top global destination and an exciting site for our biggest event of the year.
